Measurements are in centimetres and taken with the gi laid flat — they are not body measurements. The widths (M, E, H, I) are half the circumference. Points A, B, C, D and M are measured on the jacket, E, F, H, I and K on the trousers. Children's gis are chosen primarily by the child's height; if the child is between two sizes, we recommend the larger one.

Katsudo Kio kids Jiu Jitsu kimono is the ideal choice for young beginners taking their first steps in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, ju-jutsu or other kimono sports. The set is designed to offer low weight, comfort during movement and durability during regular training, which is extremely important in a kids' kimono.

Compared to more robust models for advanced practitioners, the kids' kimono feels lighter, more comfortable and more natural during movement, so it does not restrict the child during warm-up, techniques or training itself. An advantage is also the comfortable cut adapted for children, which helps the kimono fit well while providing enough freedom of movement.

The kimono is made of 100 % cotton, making it pleasant to wear. The jacket made of 280 gsm Pearl Weave material offers an ideal balance between lightness and durability, while the trousers made of 8 oz ripstop material handle even more active training loads. Reinforced seams in stressed areas further contribute to a longer service life of the kimono. Its lower weight, more comfortable cut for children's movement and durable workmanship suitable for first and regular training are its main advantages.

The kimono is delivered without a belt, so you can complement it according to your own needs.
